i actually have a few opinions on it. first, i think it’s super super great how everyone can come together during a situation such as this and i love the fact that people actually care. but i don’t think everyone is educated on this subject enough to start automatically protesting it. a 30 minute video can’t possibly educate you on everything you needed to know about something happening in a completely different country that you’ve never really known about before. before this kony video, what do people actually know about uganda? nothing really, so how can you know what you’re supporting? just because a video is inspiring and terribly sad, doesn’t mean the facts are all there. we don’t really know enough about this situation to support it! i honestly doubt that half the people who watched the video did any further investigation into the problem, and in fact, i think that if they did, they’d see that the video was 5 years too late. but i still think that it’s amaaazing how people can come together like this and i think that if we did this for the RIGHT causes, we could seriously get some stuff done!

i didn’t know what it would feel like, so i was scared at first but when the needle broke skin and what not, it wasn’t even as bad as i thought it would be. i think my pain tolerance is kinda high when it comes to my mouth and nose though.
